Accessibility
The property is on three levels so there are stairs to climb which may make the property unsuitable to those with very small children or those that have difficulty with stairs in general. There is ample parking (free) next to the property.

Outside
The property has three outside terraces and a small private patio area.
The large terrace upstairs benefits from a covered seating area (but only from July until September). The main terrace off the lounge has a sunny south facing position and stairs lead down to the private garden and pool area.
The pool and garden is exclusive to the use of the houses that surround the gardens and the area can only be accessed from each individual property.

Coast/Beach
Albayalde is approx 400 yards from the beachfront accessing a long sandy beach. For those not wishing to lay by the pool it is possible to walk for miles along the beach in either direction calling in at a number of beach bars on the way.
Albayalde also has its own Tennis and Paddle tennis courts which are free to use.

Golf
The Costa del Sol is a frequent favourite for many keen golfers. The excellent climate enables visitors to enjoy the perfect break in the sun almost all year round. Albayalde has many courses within a 20 minute drive that will test all standards of golfers. There is normally an informal social competition once a week but fellow golfers can meet each other in 'The Upper Deck Bar' to arrange games.

Travel
Malaga is the nearest airport being 45 mins away. Albayalde can be reached by the coast road or the motorway (toll road). There are taxis readily available outside the airport at a cost of between 90-110 euros one way. The more adventurous can try the bus! Gibraltar airport can also be used as this airport is a similar distance from Albayalde.

Distances
The nearest town is Cancelada, a typical Spanish village that has grown to meet the needs of the area with a wide selection of typical spanish bars and good quality restaurants and only a 5 minute walk away. The towns of Estepona, San Pedro and Puerto Banus are no more than a 15 minute car journey away. You can also use the local bus service to visit these places and the bus stop is only a couple of minutes walk from Albayalde.

About the owner
Hi. We have been coming to this area of the Costa Del Sol since 1992. We first stayed at Villacana which is next to Albayalde. After 7 years we fell in love with the area and purchased a holiday property in Villacana. Five years ago we decided that this was the area of Spain where we would eventually retire so we bought a much larger property in Albayalde. We have fitted the house out to a high standard as we will eventually live here. However in the meantime we are happy to rent our property so that holiday makers can experience this area of Spain whilst enjoying all the comforts of home.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
The property is near the beach. The village of Cancelada is a short walk away where you can experience the lovely tapas bars. There is easy access to the road network and public transport.
